Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday and I love to decorate my apartment with fun things! One thing I love to decorate with is different types of Christmas Elves. I designed my own christmas elf to decorate with and I though I could share the pattern so you can create lots of elves to!

Body
Red yarn
1. ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook - 6 sts
2. inc around - 12 sts
3-4. sc in each st around- 12 sts
5. [sc, inc] around - 18 sts
6-7. sc in each st around- 18 sts
8. [2 sc, inc] around - 24 sts
9-10. sc in each st around- 24 sts
11. [3 sc, inc] around - 30 sts
12. sc in each st around- 30 sts
13. [4 sc, inc] around - 36 sts
Fasten and cut the yarn.
Base
Red yarn
1. ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from needle- 6 sts
2. inc around - 12 sts
3. [sc, inc] around - 18 sts
4. [2 sc, inc] around - 24 sts
5. [3 sc, inc] around- 30 sts
6. [4 sc, inc] around - 36 sts
Fasten and cut the yarn. Sew on to the body.
Beard
White yarn
Leave a long tail and use that to sew the beard on to the body.
1. chain 9, turn - 9 sts
2. 8 sc, turn - 8 sts
3. 7 sc, turn - 7 sts
4. 6 sc, turn - 6 sts
5. 5 sc, turn - 5 sts
6. 4 sc, turn - 4 sts
7. 3 sc, turn - 3 sts
8. 2 sc, turn - 2 sts
9. sc - 1 st
Fasten and cut the yarn. Sew on to the body.
Nose
Orange yarn
1. ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook - 6 sts
2. inc around - 12 sts
3. sc in each st around- 12 sts
4. dec around - 6 sts
Fasten and cut the yarn. Sew on to the body.
Hat
Red yarn
1. ch 21, turn - 21 sts
2. 20 sc, ch 4, sc in first st (this will be the first st in next row) - 24 sts
3-4. sc in each st around- 24 sts
5. [2 sc, dec] around - 18 sts
6-7. sc in each st around- 18 sts
8. [sc, dec] around- 12 sts
9-11. sc in each st around- 12 sts
12. dec around - 6 sts
Fasten and cut the thread. Sew on to the body.
